Create Estate

An EstateExec online estate will guide you through the detailed steps of estate settlement, and help you easily organize and manage all aspects of the estate (or trust!)

To create an EstateExec estate:

1. If you are not already logged in, click "Login" or "Create Account" in the top right of the menu bar, and follow the instructions.
2. Once you are logged in, click the Estate menu and select "New".
3. Enter the requested estate information and press "OK".

Tip: You can use a new estate at no cost for up to 10 days. If you wish to use an estate beyond the trial period, simply click the License Now button or use the Estate | License menu to pay the one-time $199 license fee for that EstateExec estate.

In addition to using EstateExec to manage an estate, you can also use EstateExec to administer a trust. However, estates and trusts are separate legal entities, and their finances must be kept separate. Within EstateExec, the best way to handle an estate which includes a trust is to create an EstateExec "estate" to manage the overall estate, listing the trust as an asset, and a separate EstateExec "estate" to manage the trust, listing the assets contained within the trust. In fact, you don’t even need to be dealing with an estate in order to benefit from using EstateExec to manage a trust.
