Probate Forms (MO)
There are a number of state-specific forms you may need when going through the probate process.
General MO Forms
In Missouri, the probate division of the local Circuit Court handles wills and estate matters.
You can check with your local court for the forms they might prefer, and below you will find some of the more common MO forms:
- Probate of Will - Get the estate settlement process started
- Application for Administration - Get the estate settlement process started if no will
- Consent to Independent Administration - Get heirs to approve a simple settlement process
- Estate Inventory - You may want to attach EstateExec's Inventory Report
- Probate Settlement - File Final Accounting with court (consider using EstateExec's Accounting Report)
- Notice of Final Settlement - Inform distributees of final settlement submission
Missouri does not provide many state-wide forms, so above we have provided example probate forms from St. Charles County: you can either contact your local court to see if they have a preferred form, adapt one of the above forms for your particular county, make up your own form, or have a lawyer do it for you.
You can also see St. Charles County Probate Forms, Jackson County Probate Forms, St. Louis County Probate Forms, Boone County Probate Forms, or check with your local Circuit Court for other sample probate forms you may find useful.
Small MO Estate Forms
Small estates sometimes need only 1 specialized form or affidavit: see Small MO Estates.
